I am not getting to quilt as much as the first few months of the year but I'm still cooking tons, so I decided to post some recipes we've fallen in love with.
1/2 to 1 lb. sausage browned and crumbled. Deglaze pan with 1/4c. white wine, add 1/4c chopped onions, 2 cloves diced garlic, and mushroom stems chopped; cook in white wine until wine completely cooks down. Mix all into 8 oz. cream cheese with 1 egg yolk and 1/4 c. grated cheese. Spoon into washed button mushroom heads and bake @ 350 for 25 minutes. This will easily fill 2 to 3 packages of white button mushrooms.
